Privacy notice

This notice explains what personal data we handle and why. We keep it to the minimum needed to run the scope checker and, if you ask, to email you your result.

Your checker answers

The questions you answer in the checker are processed entirely in your browser to compute your result. They are not sent to us or stored on any server unless you choose to email yourself the result.

If you ask for your result by email

We pass your email address, your verdict, and a short duties summary to our email provider, MailerLite (acting as our processor), so it can send you that result. This is a single email you have actively requested. MailerLite records the time and IP as evidence of your request.

We only send you further emails — about launch and Online Safety Act changes — if you separately tick the optional marketing box. You can withdraw that consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email.

Founding-member pre-order

If you reserve a founding place, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe on their hosted page. We never see or store your card details.

Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics tool, to count anonymous funnel actions (for example how many people complete the checker). It does not set cookies or collect personal data, so no cookie banner is needed.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your email data, or to stop contacting you. Contact us and we will act on it. Our lawful basis is your consent for marketing emails and your request for the transactional result email.
